More than 130 Villarreal CF Runners took part in the races this Sunday
The Valencia Marathon and the 10K Trinidad Alfonso experienced their Yellowest editions to date. More than 130 Villarreal CF Runners took part in an unforgettable day in Valencia, taking part in one of two races which took place this Sunday. Among them was ex-Villarreal captain Marcos Senna, who put on Yellow once more to complete the 10k.
It was a day to remember, with Ethiopian Leul Gebrselassie passing the finish line in 2.04.31, a new record which puts the Valencian date in the ten best world marathons, and among the quickest of 2018.
With the Yellows participation doubling from 2017, Villarreal CF Runners has finished its second season on a high. As well as the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon (2nd December), the 10K Trinidad Alfonso EDP (2nd December), the Submarine runners have also taken part in the Trinidad Alfonso Half Marathon, which took place on 28th October.
