The fifth edition of Valencian pilota touranment ‘Trofeu Villarreal CF’ now has crowned its champions. J. Salvador, Nacho and Álvaro beat Marc, Félix and Bueno 60-50 in the final in a spectacular match at the Salvador Sagols Trinquet in Vila-real.
On Friday, the third-placed play-off took place. Puchol II, Jesús and Hilario beat De la Vega, Javi and Carlos 60-30 to finish third.
Through the Endavant Esports Project, Villarreal CF supports provincial sport by helping clubs and athletes in the province of Castellón. Through this, the Yellows showed their commitment to Valencian sport as well, trying to increase awareness of it by celebrating a Valencian pilota tournament in Vila-real every year.
