The Yellows youngsters won the Villarreal Yellow Cup Miami, after beating New York Red Bulls 2-1 in the final
Villarreal U12s (Alevín A) lifted the Villarreal Yellow Cup Miami, after winning the final 2-1 against New York Red Bulls. The Yellows shone in the tournament on Floridian soil, which brought together some of the best U12 sides from across the United States.
More than 200 players from 16 teams put on a show in front of more than 3,000 spectators who enjoyed the three-day event. Yellows legends, Marcos Senna and Diego Forlán were present throughout the tournament, as luxury ambassadors for a historic event for the Yellows Academy and youth soccer in the US.
In the SILVER competition, Kaptiva Sports Academy won, beating Doral Soccer Club in the final.
Finally, New York Red Bulls’ Zidane Yanez was named Golden Boot in a tournament where quality and sportsmanship reigned.
