Roberto Soldado analyses the Submarine’s season after finishing fifth in LaLiga
Villarreal striker, Roberto Soldado, assessed the season and highlighted “the merit” of qualifying for Europe: “It was very difficult, our opponents did not make it easy and we weren’t able to guarantee it until the last match. Depsite that, it was more than deserved, the team gave it everything this season”.
Lastly, after having completed the last training session of the season, the Yellow number 9 is already on holiday and hopes to come back stronger for preseason training. According to the forward, preseason will be a “fundamental” time. “Now it’s time to go on our holidays, take a break and come back with more energy for preseason, which is fundamental for us in order to have a good season. How well we do throughout the year will depend on how well we work during this period”, Soldado concluded.
