Álvaro González and Andrés Fernández thanked the Yellows fans who gave blood
Villarreal supporters once more showed their support at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Today, hundreds of fans went to the Yellows’ ground to give blood and contribute to this initiative carried out by the club, through the Endavant Solidaritat initiative, and the Centre de Transfusión de la Comunitat Valenciana (CTCV) (Comunidad Valenciana Transfusion Centre).
First-team players Andrés Fernández and Álvaro González visited the donors, to thank them first hand. What’s more, the club gave two tickets for a Villarreal match to each fan who took part in this good cause.
A fruitful alliance. Villarreal and CTCV have been working together since 2002. Since then, the Estadio de la Cerámica has seen more than 7,000 donations in the last 16 years.
