The ‘Inmersión Villarreal’ museum to launch

This project, located in the Estadio de la Cerámica and led by Mediapro Exhibitions, will be officially presented and will open its doors to the public at the end of May

The official museum is on its way. ‘Inmersión Villarreal’ (Villarreal Immersion), a spectacular space, located in the Fondo Sur at the Estadio de la Cerámica, will be officially presented in the coming weeks and will be open to the public at the end of May.

‘Inmersión Villarreal’ is an exciting interactive and audiovisual experience in which fans can immerse themselves in the history, identity and values of Villarreal CF through a journey through different rooms themed under its most iconic image, that of the Yellow Submarine.

‘Inmersión Villarreal’ is a project with a long history, in which the club has invested years of work and dedication in collaboration with one of the best companies in the world in the sector, Mediapro Exhibitions, the branch of Grup Mediapro specialising in the creation and management of museum projects, and with experience in the conceptualisation, design and production of exhibition spaces for other major sports clubs.

The inauguration and creation of this unique space is part of the great transformation of the Estadio de la Cerámica, which the club began with an impressive refurbishment in its centenary year, and which will continue with the construction of new spaces that will turn the Estadio into much more than just a sports venue: a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility that is open to everyone, incorporating leisure and restaurant areas linked to the club.

In the same way, the creation of the official Villarreal museum is another step in the exciting project that the club launched at the end of 2022, with the creation of the Historical Archive, which was created with the aim of delving into the roots of the club and delving into the history of the Submarine, with the collaboration of the Jaume I University in Castellón, the Vila-real Town Council and the ‘Amics del Club’ supporters’ association.

To mark the centenary, Villarreal CF released two works of great historical value, the ‘100 anys de pel-lícula’ (100 Years of Film) documentary and the ‘La Il-lusió de Tot un Poble’ (The Hope of a Whole Town) book, which review the highlights of the club’s history and give a voice to the people who played a leading role in it in the first person. Now, the opening of ‘Inmersión Villarreal’ is an important step in the club’s journey back to its origins and the dissemination of its history.
