The Yellows reach the half-way point of LaLiga in the top half after three wins in a row.

Villarreal ended the first half of the season with a win at the Reale Arena. The Yellows are currently ninth in LaLiga and have had three consecutive victories, against Sevilla, Getafe and Real Sociedad.

With Saturday’s 1-2 win over Real Sociedad, the Submarine ended the first half of the season with 33 goals scored in 19 LaLiga games. That’s the best return in the last five years. In the 2018/19 season, the Yellows had scored 20 goals, and in the 2017/18, 2016/17 and 2015/16 seasons, they had 26 goals to their names in the first 19 matches.

Villarreal’s 33 goals in 19 games are split as follows:
