The town of Tordera, in Girona, hosts the prestigious tournament
The time has come. The Costa Girona Cup kicks off this afternoon at 4pm CET with the first matches of the tournament organized by Villarreal CF together with Endeka Sports. The teams participating in the tournament arrived yesterday when they received accreditations and gifts. Today they are prepared to start and get the ball rolling in the Costa Girona Cup.
The competition will be played until 26th June, when the finals will be played in the different categories and the closing ceremony will take place. The tournament venue is in Tordera (Girona) and will host more than 80 teams from U8s to U19s who will play on 13 natural grass pitches. As well as enjoying the tournament the players can also participate in different activities the organization has put on.
