A new edition, full of surprises, will start this Saturday with the build-up to the match against Real Valladolid at the Estadio de la Cerámica

The successful ‘3v3 Groguet’ tournament is back in style this Saturday. The new edition will get underway in the build-up to the match against Real Valladolid at the Estadio de la Cerámica (from 11am CEST). The Fan Zone, just outside the South Stand, will once again be the centre of all the fun.

The first day will see Villarreal U8s and U10s take part, as well as teams of those ages from CD l’Alcora, CD Oliver and Esportiu Vila-real.

The matches will last for four minutes and each participant will get a commemorative t-shirt from the tournament, a drink throughout the tournament and free tickets, alongside their coaches, for the men’s first-team match they are at. Furthermore, they will also take part in a draw for a trip, alongside two adults, with the Villarreal first team. The victors will get winners’ medals and a photo with the starting XI before the LaLiga match.

Each tournament day will have a winner for each age group, and at the end of the season, there will be a champions day with the winners from each matchday, with the final at half-time during a Villarreal CF LaLiga match.

The Groguet Challenge, new in the Fan Zone

One of the new features of the Fan Zone this season will be the Groguet Challenge. The participants will get points by undergoing a series of tests, which they can convert into prizes when they want. Furthermore, there will be workshops so that each participant can take home a memory of their participation.
