Villarreal beats Real Sociedad with Uche and Giovani scoring 2 goals each
An outstanding Villarreal won the second of the three match series against Real Sociedad in El Madrigal. The final score (5-1) reflects the strength of the Yellows that were better during the entire match. Brilliant Uche and Giovani scored twice and Moi Gómez closed the final 5-1. All the players of the Submarine were absolutely incredible, the Basque side couldn’t manage to fight back against Marcelino’s men. Both teams will face each other again this coming Thursday for the second leg of the King’s Cup (8 pm, El Madrigal). With this victory the Yellows achieve 34 points and close a great first half of the championship, only two points away from Champions League positions and take the fifth place in the classification from Real Sociedad.
