Xavi Quintillà could make his first-team debut after being named in the 18-man squad by Javi Calleja

Villarreal manager Javi Calleja has revealed the 18 players called up to the matchday squad for the Copa del Rey Round of 32 first-leg tie against UD Almería. The big news is the inclusion of Villarreal B defender Xavi Quintillà in the squad for the first time.

The game, which will take place in the Estadio Juegos del Mediterráneo (Thursday, 6:30pm CET), can be watched live in Spain on beIN Sports Max 1.

Travel plan

The Yellows trip will leave Castellón Airport heading to Almería at 6:45pm CET. Once in Andalucía, Villarreal CF will stay at the Elba Amería 4* Hotel. The return trip is planned for Thursday after the match, arriving back at Castellón Airport.
