Seven friendlies for Villarreal Women

Sara Monforte’s side have started training at the PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground this week

Villarreal Women, led by Sara Monforte, are going into an exciting season, which will be their first in the top flight of women’s football in Spain.

This Monday, the Yellows underwent medical tests before starting training sessions at the PAMESA Cerámica Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva PAMESA). The Yellows will continue to train there throughout this week, behind closed doors in daily sessions starting at 9am.

Pre-season friendlies for the Yellows

Villarreal Women will play a total of seven pre-season friendlies before their first league match, which will be the weekend of 4^th/5^th September. The first friendly match will take place on 1^st August, at 6pm CEST, against CD Castellón at El Serrito in Villafranca del Cid.

The friendlies that have been confirmed are (time CEST):

• Sunday 1^st August: Villarreal Women vs Castellón (6pm, El Serrito, Villafranca del Cid).
• Saturday 7^th August: Gandía vs Villarreal Women (time and stadium TBC).
• Wednesday 11^th August: Levante vs Villarreal Women (time and stadium TBC).
• Saturday 14^th August: Villarreal Women vs Osasuna (time and stadium TBC).
• Saturday 21^st August: Villarreal Women vs Valencia (time and stadium TBC).
• Sunday 22^nd August: Espanyol vs Villarreal Women (time and stadium TBC).
