Villarreal CF will organise a trip for fans to be able to attend the Super Cup against Chelsea FC in person
See you in Belfast! Villarreal CF has prepared different trips for fans to be able to travel to attend the UEFA Super Cup against Chelsea FC, which will take place on Wednesday 11th August at 9pm CEST at Windsor Park in Belfast (Northern Ireland). UEFA will assign 1,500 tickets to the Yellows.
Due to the lack of time to organise the trip due to the restrictions because of COVID-19, and all of the difficulties that this has meant, the club has decided to cover the cost of part of the trip, to try and make it more accessible.
IMPORTANT
- ‘Vaccination certificate’: can be obtained by those who are fully vaccinated: valid from 14 days after the second dose (or after the first in the case of Janssen). These fans will be able to move freely around the city, should they not decide to be part of the trip within a bubble. Those under 18 are exempt from showing the vaccination certificate, and they can also move without restrictions.
- COMPULSORY PCR test: ALL fans – except those under 11 – will need to show a negative PCR test from the 72 hours before arrival in Belfast, regardless of being fully vaccinated or not. The same test will also be used to return to Spain, so we recommend it being carried out on Monday 9th August, so it can be used to enter Northern Ireland and Spain.
- All fans need to fill in the UK passenger locator form and another one before returning to Spain. The travel agency will provide the relevant links.
- Fans will be able to travel with DNI (national ID card) or a valid passport in order to enter Northern Ireland.
- Presenting the correct documentation for the trip is the personal responsibility of each fan.
TYPES OF TRIP
1. TRIP IN BUBBLE FLIGHT, RETURNING ON THE DAY + MATCH TICKET + RELEVANT TRAVEL: 200 EUROS.
Local authorities have allowed fans who are not completely vaccinated to travel on matchday in flights in COVID bubbles organised by the club, where they will be translated to an exclusive area for the Yellows fans with various fan activities (Crusaders FC’s Seaview Stadium). Then, they will be taken to Windsor Park, and the return trip will be after the match.
- Requirements for this trip: UK passenger locator form and the required form to return to Spain, negative PCR test to be able to enter the country.
- Important: Those fans who have a full vaccination certificate and want to travel in this trip will not be able to do separate activities and will need to be part of the expedition for the whole trip.
2. RETURN TRIP ON A CHARTERED FLIGHT IN A DAY (ONLY FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE AND UNDER 18S) + MATCH TICKET + RELEVANT TRAVEL (300 EUROS)
- Requirements for this trip: UK passenger locator form and the required form to return to Spain, negative PCR test to be able to enter the country, and complete vaccination certificate.
3.CHARTER FLIGHT THE DAY BEFORE THE MATCH (ONLY FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE AND UNDER 18S) + NIGHT IN 4* HOTEL + MATCH TICKET + RELEVANT TRAVEL: 570 EUROS.
- Requirements for this trip: UK passenger locator form and the required form to return to Spain, negative PCR test to be able to enter the country, and complete vaccination certificate.
WHEN AND HOW TO PURCHASE ONE OF THESE THREE POSSIBLE TRIPS:
It will be done online and via villarrealsupercopa.com – and will close on Friday 6th August at 2pm CEST. The club will use its official media outlets for more details on how to access the digital platform to be able to apply.
It can also be done in person at the Estadio de la Cerámica ticket office on Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 7pm and on Friday from 9am to 2pm.
- MATCH TICKETS: The club will sell match tickets at 80 Euros to fans who have a full vaccination certificate and want to travel by themselves.
- Requests will need to be made via the following e-mail address: taquillas@villarrealcf.es.
- Requests can be made and will close this Thursday at 12pm CEST. The club will give a response via e-mail with details of how to pay.
- Important: Fans who want to travel by themselves will need to have a full vaccination certificate and carry out a negative PCR test 72 hours before arriving in Northern Ireland. For those who are going to be there for more than three days, they will need to carry out another PCR test on the second day in the country.
PCR TEST
The club has reached an agreement with the Laboratorio Pilar Marí from Vila-real so that fans can carry out a PCR test for 65 euros.
