Villarreal CF held its end-of-season meal at the El Ceramista Restaurant

Villarreal CF celebrated the traditional end-of-season meal this Wednesday at the El Ceramista restaurant, located at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The celebration was attended by the board, coaching staff, first-team players and the club’s main sponsors.

Gold badge for players with 200 matches

Villarreal CF president, Fernando Roig, presented the club’s gold badge to three players who have reached the 200th official match in the yellow shirt at the end-of-season lunch. They are the Submarine’s current Nigerian player, Samu Chukwueze (206), and former players Rodolfo Martín Arruabarrena (284) and Gonzalo Rodríguez (253), who due to different circumstances had not yet been able to receive their gold badge to date.

A gift for the sponsors of the Estadio de la Cerámica

Villarreal CF took advantage of the end-of-season lunch event to pay tribute to the main sponsors of the Estadio de la Cerámica. Villarreal CF presented an impressive commemorative ceramic mosaic to Pamesa, Argenta, Torrecid, Colorobbia, Porcelanosa, Altadia, Bestile, TAU and Vidres.

Double recognition for Juan Foyth

Villarreal CF president, Fernando Roig, presented Juan Foyth with a commemorative shirt for his 100th appearance for the Yellows, which he achieved in the last game against Rayo Vallecano.

The Argentinian defender also received a ceramic Submarine from the president for being part of the club’s historic XI, which he was unable to collect at the time because he was away on international duty with the Argentina national team.

Tribute to employees who celebrate 20 years at the club

At the event, Villarreal CF also paid tribute to employees who have been with the club for 20 years for their efforts and dedication over the last two decades. President Fernando Roig presented the gold insignia to María Ángeles Vivó (administration), Patricia Traver (women’s football coordinator), José Ramón Gumbau (maintenance) and Roberto Játiva (maintenance).
