The Villarreal Women head coach underlines the importance in improving in both boxes against Valencia CF
Villarreal Women head coach, Sara Monforte, appeared at the press conference ahead of the derby against Valencia CF, which will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 7pm CEST at the Mini Estadi at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
The team’s current state
“The team is fine, although we go into the match after not playing on the first matchday and not scoring on the second, despite deserving to do so, and then the intenrational break and it’s difficult to work like that, but we’re professionals. Now we have three games in a week and we’re looking forward to it. We have a good squad and we hope we can win.”
“Tomorrow’s game is a derby. We played in pre-season and it was even. They are a very strong team with athletic players, but also a lot of quality in midfield and people who make the difference up front.”
What to improve on
“We have to improve in the areas. We spend a lot of time on that. Against Real Betis we had chances and we have to put them away. We have to be in the game for 95 minutes to take the three points.”
