The players paid a visit to the ‘Felicinda Collell’ school as part of the ‘A Star in your School’ initiative
Pupils from the ‘Colegio Felicinda Collell’ school in Càlig and Villarreal footballers Rafael Santos Borré and Antonio Rukavina had a great time as part of the ‘A Star in your School’ initiative devised by the Yellow Kids Club (Club Groguet), the Submarine’s children’s club. The Yellows shared special moments with the students, who asked the players all types of questions, had photographs with them, got their autographs and were given a flag signed by the entire Villarreal CF First Team squad.
This is the second stop on the ‘A Star in your School’ tour so far this season, as Trigueros and Barbosa also visited the ‘Pío XII’ school in Vila-real, but it should also be stated that this initiative was a huge success throughout the whole of last season too. From here on out, the Submarine players will continue to pay visits to schools in the Castellón province to have fun with the youngsters.
As well as the interview with the Villarreal CF stars, schools from the Castellón province can also enjoy a free training session at their school, led by coaches from the Yellows academy, and a guided tour of the El Madrigal stadium.
