The midfielder from Madrid wants to get better individually and as a team
Rodrigo Hernández joined the Submarine’s preseason training yesterday at the El Saler facility in Valencia. Villarreal CF’s centre midfielder started preseason later than his teammates due to the fact that he was representing Spain in the U21 European Championships, where he finished as a runner-up. Now that he is back all he is thinking about is growing as a footballer and helping the team to beat their fifth place finish in the 2016/17 season.
“If we can we’ll try to beat last season’s performance. The main aim has to be to keep growing, evolving. Personally I believe I’ve took a big step forward and I want to become more important for the team”.
