Roberto Bautista has made history at Wimbledon. The tennis player from Castellón has reached the semi-finals of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career after beating the Argentine Guido Pella in four sets 7-5, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

In the semi-finals, Bautista will face world No.1 and tournament favourite Novak Djokovic, who beat David Goffin 6-4, 6-0, 6-2. The provincial tennis player has already beaten the Serbian star twice this year, in the semi-finals at the ATP 250 in Doha, a tournament he ended up winning, and in the last 16 of the Masters 1,000 in Miami.
