Pepe Reina attended the ‘Vila-real for science and innovation: research as a cure for millions’ conference, organised by Vila-real Town Council in collaboration with the Conquistando Escalones charity, which was held this Friday at the Auditori Municipal.

The charity event featured the prestigious voices of Juan Carlos Unzué, ex-footballer and ex-coach diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and Álex Roca, a reference in disabled sports, with cerebral palsy and a Guinness World Record.

The club has collaborated with the celebration of this charity congress and with Conquistando Escalones, a non-profit association created by people affected, relatives and friends of people affected by limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type LGMD-1F.
