Up to eleven Villarreal Academy players were awarded by the ‘FFCV’
The Valencian Community Football Federation (FFCV) awarded eleven Yellows footballers at the annual Awards Ceremony yesterday, corresponding to the 2015/16 season. The event took place at the Palau de Congressos in Valencia and nine of the eleven Yellows Academy players receiving awards for playing for the youth categories of the Spanish national team were in attendance, as well as member of the club’s Institutional Relations Department, Tino Traver. It should be mentioned that Carlos Beitia and Bruno Rodríguez could not collect their awards due to being on international duty with Spain.
The award-winning players are:
- Darío Poveda Romera (Special plaque for U19 national team players).
- Diego Lamadrid Zunzunegui (Special plaque for U17 national team players).
- Bruno Rodríguez Herrera (Special plaque for U17 national team players).
- Pedro García Campillo (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
- Jorge Carlos Galdón Sánchez (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
- Ignacio Díaz Barragán (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
- Carlos Beitia Cardos (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
- Marc Vicente Vidal Girona (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
- Gregorio Medina Pacheco (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
- Aixa Salvador García (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
- Nuria Pomer Roldán (Special plaque for U16 national team players).
