Miguel Álvarez’s side took the three points thanks to goals from Dani Villa and Enric Franquesa
Villarreal B got a prestigious win away from home at Ontinyent at El Clariano (1-2). Miguel Álvarez’s team continued their excellent run of results in a tough league, with six victories in their last seven games.
In the 52nd minute, Dani Villa but the Mini Submarine ahead. The home side fought back ten minutes later through Fran Machado, before Enric Franquesa’s strike in the 73rd minute gave Villarreal B the three points.
Villarreal B will return to the Mini Estadi next weekend against UE Olot.
