Preseason friendlies confirmed so far

Villarreal will play against Sheffield Wednesday FC (28^th July) and Real Zaragoza (8^th August)

Villarreal’s preseason is almost fully booked. Two more preseason friendlies have been confirmed for Javi Calleja’s side. The Yellows will come up against Sheffield Wednesday at the Hillsborough Stadium (28^th July, 4pm in Spain) and Real Zaragoza at the Mini Estadi in the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva) (8^th August, time TBC).  

There are still 3 friendly matches to be confirmed for Villarreal’s preseason.

The dates for Villarreal’s preseason are (time in Spain):

• Monday 9^th July: First training session at the Villarreal CF Training Ground.
• Tuesday 17th July: Opponent and time TBC.
• Saturday 21^st July: Opponent and time TBC.
• Sunday 22^nd to Friday 27^th July: Preseason training camp at the Torremirona Relais Hotel Golf & Spa de Navata.
• Wednesday 25^th July: Montpellier Hérault Sport Club vs Villarreal CF (Stade Saint-Michel, 7:30pm).
• Saturday 28^th July: Sheffield Wednesday FC vs Villarreal CF (Hillsborough Stadium, 4pm).
• Wednesday 1^st August: Opponent and time TBC.
• Saturday 4^th August: Wolverhampton Wanderers FC vs Villarreal CF (Molineux Stadium, 3pm).
• Wednesday 8^th August: Villarreal CF vs Real Zaragoza (Mini Estadi, time TBC).
• Saturday 11^th August: SV Werder Bremen vs Villarreal CF (Weserstadion, 2:30pm).
