Villarreal CF will take on the French side on Saturday 31st July at the Stade Orange Vélodrome (9pm)
Villarreal CF has confirmed its third pre-season friendly. The Yellows will face Olympique de Marseille on Saturday 31st July at 9pm at the Stade Orange Vélodrome in Marseille.
In addition to the friendly against the French side, Villarreal will also play Valencia CF on Friday 16th July at 6:30pm, at the Oliva Nova sporting facility, and against Budapest Honvéd on Saturday 24th July at 8pm, in the inaugural game at the spectacular Bozsik Arena.
The Yellows are set to return this Thursday 8th July, when the first team players will undergo medical and fitness tests prior to starting training. The start of training is subject to the completion of the medical tests (11thor 12th July).
Unai Emery’s side will officially start the season on Wednesday 11th August playing the UEFA Super Cup final against Chelsea FC at Windsor Park (Belfast, Northern Ireland). Likewsie, the Submarine’s LaLiga opener is against Granada CF at the Estadio de la Cerámica (15th August).
