Villarreal CF would like to express its profound grief and dismay following the plane crash tragedy suffered by the Associação Chapecoense Fútbol team. The first team was travelling to Colombia to play in the Copa Sudamericana. The club’s thoughts and most sincere sympathies and support are with all those affected by the tragedy; members of the club, the victims’ families and friends and all the ‘verdão’ fans at this most difficult time.
