José Manuel Llaneza has asked for the fans’ support during the Real Betis match (Sunday, 8:45pm CET)
José Manuel Llaneza, Villarreal vice-president, has analysed the current Yellows situation, after the presentation of Luis Aleixandre’s ‘Dies de Futbol’ book, which took place at the press room at the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva).
“Now more than ever, we need to be a family. I ask, with all my humility, that the fans are with the team against Real Betis. It’s a very important match. A win could be a turning point,” explained Llaneza.
Furthermore, the Yellows vice-president has underlines that the results put together by Villarreal don’t correspond with the play and the hard work from Javi Calleja’s team. “Taking away the match againsT Espanyol and other a few other moments, Villarreal deserve more than what they’ve got. It’s a negative situation, but it’s a temporary one. We’ve got a great team and we’re sure we’ll come out of the other side.”
