Nine Yellows sides have now lifted their league title this season
The Yellows Academy now has its first nine champions of the 2021/22 season. The U16s (Cadete A), U13s (Infantil B), U12s (Alevín A), U11s (Alevín B), U10s (Benjamín A), U9s C (Benjamín F), U8s (Mini A), U7s (Mini B) and the Women’s D team have been able to lift their league title this season.
In the 11-a-side teams, the U13s won their league, the Liga Preferente, with 63 points, one more than CD Roda B, their main opposition throughout the season, winning 19 of their 26 matches, losing just one. The U16s were crowned champions at the weekend, after beating Fundació Valencia CF in Paterna, with one game left in their league, the Liga Autonómica. The Yellows will face second-placed Valencia CF on the final day, but they already have sealed top spot thanks to 13 wins out of 17 in the second phase.
In the 8-a-side teams, there are six league champions. The U12s, U11s, U10s, U9s C, U8s and U7s have been the standout academy teams, who have ended the season in the best way possible, celebrating a title.
Furthermore, the Women’s D team won their league in April, and were promoted with a lot of the season still to play in the first season in senior football.
