The Yellows youngster started Spain U17’s victory against the Canary Islands (4-1)
Villarreal Ladies footballer Nerea Vicente has won the Trofeo del Atlántico with Spain U17s, after beating the Canary Islands 4-1 in the final. The Yellows Academy youngster started for La Roja, and played 76 minutes of the final.
In recent days, Nacho Díaz, Goyo Medina and Jordi Ortega also represented Spain at youth level. The Villarreal C players featured in Spain U19s’ 3-0 loss to Italy, while Ortega played in the AEGEAN Cup, which Spain were runners-up, losing 2-0 to Turkey in the final. The academy youngster, came on in the second half for 22 minutes.
