The player from Alicante has extended her contract with Villarreal Women for the next two seasons
Villarreal CF and Nerea Pérez Machado (11/01/1994, Benidorm, Alicante) have reached an agreement for a contract extension, meaning that the player from Alicante will continue to play for the Yellows for the next two seasons. Nerea will remain at Villarreal CF until 30th June 2026.
A safe bet
The defender from Benidorm joined Villarreal Women in the 2021/22 season, with the aim of reinforcing the Yellows in their debut in the top flight of Spanish women’s football. Since then, the player, who usually plays as a right-back, although she can also play as a winger, has already accumulated a total of 81 appearances as a Yellows player (76 league games and five in the Copa de la Reina).
In the current campaign, Nerea Pérez has become a safe bet, as she has played in 21 of the 22 games played so far in Liga F (1,792 minutes) and has provided four assists.
