Javi Calleja says that the team is mentally ready to get the win at the Mestalla which could turn fortunes around
The Villarreal CF manager, Javi Calleja, was interviewed by the press ahead of the game against Valencia CF. The Yellows coach is looking for motivation and pride in order to achieve an important victory in the derby at Mestalla: “We are looking forward to turning the situation around. We are a very strong team mentally and we are working hard, convinced that we can come away with a win in the derby against Valencia.”
The head coach praised the qualities of the upcoming opponents, but prefers to focus on the work of his men: “They are a great team. They have a very capable squad with very good players. In any case, I prefer to focus on my team. We are very motivated. We have a lot of options and we will look for the best option for the game at Mestalla.”
