The young academy promises have made the cut of 55 footballers

Yellows Academy footballers Manu Morlanes (1998) and Pepe Castaño (1999) continue driving forward and have survived the third cut made by the Fútbol Draft 2019 Technical Committee as part of recognising the best national talent aged between 16 and 20.

Futbol Draft has revealed the 55 young promises who have survived the third cut and will try and win a place in this season’s Golden, Silver and Bronze XIs of Spanish youth football. Next up, the organisation will reveal the 33 chosen players who form part of the aforementioned XIs.

The Technical Committee, which is presided over by former national-team selector Iñaki Sáez, also saw the presence of Javier Lasagabaster (CEO Futbol Draft®), Francis Hernández (RFEF national team co-ordinator), Luis de la Fuente (U21 selector), Santi Denia (U19 selector), David Gordo (U17 selector), Julen Guerrero (U16 selector), Jacinto Alonso (Federación Riojana president and RFEF board member), Miguel Hernández (AFE), Ángel Caballero (AEAF – Asociación Española Agentes Jugadores), Raúl Ojeda y Ricardo Resta (LaLiga), Vicente Miera (former Spain senior side selector), Nacho Silván, (youth football expert), Aritz Gabilondo (youth football expert) y Ana Rossell (women’s football expert).
