The winners were the teams ‘El equipo A’ in the Groc category and ‘Los futbolísimos’ in the Blau category
The Copa Endavant came to Morella on Saturday for the tenth day of the tournament held at the Espai Firal. This time, the star activity of the Groguet Centenary Tour, had 95 participants divided into 25 different teams between the two categories: the Groc for those born between 2011 and 2013 and the Blau for those born between 2014 and 2016. The tournament guaranteed fun for all participants, who received a special t-shirt to take part in the competition, as well as a backpack with a welcome pack.
The winners were ‘El equipo A’ in the Groc category and ‘Los futbolísimos’ in the Blau category. The champions received their respective medals from Marcos Senna, the Mayor of Morella, Rhamsés Ripollés, and the local councillor for sports, Judit García, and sealed their place in the final, which will be held on 10th June on the pitch of the Estadio de la Cerámica.
In addition to the matches, Villarreal CF brought a wide variety of games, inflatables and activities to the Fan Zone to ensure that the little ones had fun. As if that wasn’t enough, the UEFA Europa League trophy, won in 2021 against Manchester United in Gdansk (Poland), was also on display for fans to take pictures with. Legendary ex-footballer and club ambassador Marcos Senna also watched the tournament and greeted the various participants.
The successful competition has already been played in Segorbe, Almassora, Benicàssim, Nules, La Vall d’Uixó, Vinaròs, Vila-real, Burriana, l’Alcora and Morella.
