The B team manager underlined that Peña Deportiva are an ‘intense’ and ‘well-worked’ team
Villarreal B head coach Miguel Álvarez appeared in a remote press conference this morning to analyse the upcoming league match with Peña Deportiva (Wednesday, 11am CET). “We know the time of team we’re facing. Peña Deportiva are a very intense side who work well, but playing at home, we need to be strong on what we do well, and by doing that, we’ll be closer to getting a win.”
The Mini Submarine boss underlined the need to be strong at home: “It’s a very short competition. To achieve big things, we know it’s important to win at home.”
Finally, he underlined his views on aspirations for the second half of the season: “We are going to try, like every year, to finish as high as possible and work as hard as possible with the boys. We’re demanding with our objective, to finish in the top three.”
