The Villarreal B boss has warned of the dangers of his side’s next opponent (Saturday, 5pm CET)

Villarreal B manager Miguel Álvarez has analysed the match from this Saturday against CD Teruel at the Mini Estadi in the Villarreal CF Training Ground (Ciudad Deportiva) (5pm CET, Villarreal Live and TVCS). The head coach warned off the dangers of the team from Aragón: “Teruel is a team that we liked a lot in pre-season. They’re newly promoted and play really nice football. They have 15 points, but they’re playing really well and I’m sure their opponents find it hard to play against them. We hope that isn’t the case for us. Up front, they have a lot of potential to cause damage, and also from set pieces too. I believe half the goals they’ve scored have come straight from the training ground. They’re going to make it hard.”

Álvarez sees his team as a side with lots of ability, despite the last match ending in defeat against CD Ebro: “Every match is difficult in this league. We need to be able to deal with any pitch and any team. Against Ebro we weren’t at our best. We lost the ball a lot, but I think the penalty turned the tie. They shut up shot and made it hard for us.”

Finally, the Mini Submarine coach underlined the lack of difference between sides at the top of Group 3 in Segunda División B: “There are five or six very similar sides in the table. We need to carry on working on growing without worrying about teh table If we keep on getting better, we have more chances to win. We have a good total so far and we need to continue like this.”
