The Villarreal B boss warns of Atlético Levante’s danger (Saturday, 4pm CET)

Villarreal B head coach Miguel Álvarez says he is expecting an interesting game against Atlético Levante at the Mini Estadi this Saturday (4pm CET, on Villarreal CF Live and Televisión de Castellón Mediterráneo): “It’s an attractive game. It always is when two reserve sides play. They come into the game on the back of a good performance against Ontinyent. They have a lot of young players with quality who will be at the top level soon. The most important part of the game is us though. If we are capable of playing like we want to and competing like we want to, we can win. The only thing that worries me is whether we can be at our best level.”

For the manager, players missing are not an excuse: “The team is a bit of a makeshift side. There are always moments throughout the season where you have more players missing, but the team is focused on these two matches left ahead of us in 2018.”

The two next matches for the Mini Submarine will be against Atlético Levante and Valencia Mestalla. “We have two matches left this year which could leave us in a great position. We would spend the Christmas period relaxed, and we would be able to enjoy them better with our family. It’s important to relax mentally as well,” he concluded.
