The Villarreal B manager predicts a great contest in the match against Valencia Mestalla (Saturday, 5pm)
The Villarreal B manager, Miguel Álvarez, has assured that the game this Saturday against Valencia Mestalla in the Mini Estadi (5pm) is always a special one: “Derbies are always special, but we try to encourage the boys to play their normal game. They must enjoy their work, keep improving and winning. We understand that there are three points on offer and we will have to compete at a high level”.
According to the reserves’ manager, the opposition have talent in their ranks: “Valencia Mestalla have some very talented young players who I’m sure will soon play in elite football. They have not had much luck so far this season. They have been capitalised on any mistake they make. In almost every game they have lost, they have had chances to win, but failed in the final third”.
Of course, Miguel Álvarez also praises the work done by his players: “I am happy and excited. The boys are training well and we are looking forward to competing again. We are on the right track and this gives me peace of mind”.
