The defender is now the player with the third most official matches in Villarreal history
After starting yesterday’s game against SD Eibar, Mario Gaspar became the player with the third most official matches for Villarreal CF (328) in all competitions. The right-back overtook Cani (327), and only has Bruno Soriano (418) and Marcos Senna (363) ahead of him.
Mario showed his satisfaction: “I am very happy to be part of this family and carry on getting games under my belt for this club. I am alongside historic Villarreal players and hopefully I can carry on increasing this number for a long time.”
