Villarreal CF head coach Marcelino García Toral appeared before the media in the press room at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground to analyse the important match that awaits his team tomorrow against Maccabi Haifa.
Marcelino, in his first comments, spoke about the team’s fixture list: “Since we played against Panathinaikos, we have played four games in just nine days. It’s a game that comes with a lot of accumulated effort in some positions, but we have to see how the players are after training.”
On how he is preparing for the game against Maccabi Haifa, Marcelino explains: “The main reference is the game the team played there. We have to be more competitive because if we play the same way we run the risk of losing the game. We must prevent them from creating so much danger against us.”
