The manager congratulates his team on their important win against Levante

The manager praised his players’ performance and emphasized the importance of the role of all that took part: “I am really satisfied thanks to everyone involved. It was a really important match as all are in the final stretch of the season. The changes were necessary, but we also did this in the previous match against Levante and it didn’t work out to well as we lost that game. But that aside, we need all our players. I feel extremely proud of all the players. Let’s see if we can all keep going this way for what’s left of the season.”.
Villarreal keeps adding to their undefeated record in the league, which now stands at 13 consecutive league matches. “The records mean that the team is doing really well. This week we worked hard and the balance in the team is more positive than ever after drawing against Atlético, knocking out Napoli and finishing with this 3-0 win today. According to Marcelino, the team should focus on securing fourth place: “Every team has realistic objectives that they set at the start of the season.
