The one-club man has signed a new contract at Villarreal
Villarreal CF and Manu Trigueros have reached an agreement for the midfielder to continue his time at the Submarine until 30th June 2025. The Yellows No.14, whose contract was up this season, extends his time with the club for three more seasons.
Manu Trigueros is a one-club man. He has spent all of his professional career in one club, with Villarreal CF. The midfielder joined the Yellows in 2010, and spent time with the B and C team before becoming a first-team regular, with whom he made his debut in the 2012/13 season, playing his first minutes for the club on 17th August 2012 on Matchday 1 against Real Madrid Castilla (2-1).
In nearly 12 years with the first team, Trigueros has 393 matches with Villarreal CF, and is the player to have featured in the third-most matches for the club, only beaten by Bruno Soriano (425) and Mario Gaspar (413). Two seasons ago, he received a ceramic submarine as recognition for a decade with the club.

Manu Trigueros has scored 30 goals and provided 34 assists since he has been playing in the Villarreal CF first team. This season, he is one of the top scorers, with four goals in 15 games.
