The vice-president of Villarreal CF, José Manuel Llaneza, and the yellows’ footballer Pau Francisco Torres received the Gold Medal of the city this Sunday morning in an emotional ceremony that took place in the Auditorio Municipal Músico Rafel Beltrán Moner.

This recognition was attended by the main authorities of the city of Vila-real. In the case of Pau, he has already been named ambassador of the city and the CEM Municipal Sports City bears his name for having become an emblem for local young footballers.

During the event, another award was also presented to the cyclist Sebastián Mora, one of the flagships of Endavant Esports, Villarreal CF’s sports sponsorship programme. The sportsman was already a recipient of the city’s Silver Medal.
