The 4th March Against Cancer in Castellón will take place on Sunday 9th February in Castellón
Get involved for a good cause! Villarreal, will for yet another season, collaborate with the 4th March Against Cancer in Castellón ‘Ciudad de Castellón – AECC en Marcha’, organised by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer – AECC), which will take place on the streets of Castellón de la Plana on Sunday 9th February.
Villarreal men’s first-team players Andrés Fernández, Javi Ontiveros and Sofian Chakla, alongside women’s first-team players Lara Mata, Laura Royo, Celia Fernández and Paula Campos wanted to back the cause, by posing with t-shirts and banners for the 4th March Against Cancer in Castellón.
The 4th March Against Cancer in Castellón will last 3,700m and will take place on the streets of the capital of the province of Castellón, starting (at 11am) and ending in the Plaza Mayor. It’s not a race, and anyone can take part in it, regardless of their age of physical condition, and pets can even take part too.

You can sign up to take part until Saturday 8th February at a number of different locations: the sports section at El Corte Inglés, the new AECC headquarters (Paseo Ribalta 25, Castellón), the Provincial Hospital, the General Hospital, the Vitha Hospital, the Plaza Mayor in Castellón, Nados Castellón, SUMA Fitness Castellón, the Humanities Hall at the UJI.
The Spanish Cancer Association, a private entity which donates money to oncological investigation, will receive the majority of the money raised from sign-ups.
The women’s teams at Villarreal will support the march during their matches this weekend, and the women’s B team will take part as volunteers.
