The teams competing in the tournament organised by Villarreal have attended the opening party at the club’s home ground

This afternoon, the Estadio de la Cerámica welcomed the 180 teams participating in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter. All the teams that will be competing for the title in the different age groups from tomorrow got together to celebrate the launch party and enjoy the revamped Villarreal stadium in person.

The event was divided into two parts, one for the guardians and family members and the other for the teams. The guardians arrived at 7pm at Gate 12 of the Estadio de la Cerámica, where they were given a wristband accrediting the event and were given access to the VIP area to enjoy an exclusive reception prior to the start of the opening party.

The teams, also scheduled to meet at 7pm, arrived at the Estadio de la Cerámica, where they were entertained and entertained with music and entertainment in the square outside for approximately half an hour. At that time, the players and coaches entered the stands through Gates 5 and 6 of the stadium. The party kicked off with a parade around the pitch of all the participating teams, with a flag bearer representing the club. The event also included a video presentation for the attendees, speeches and fireworks to end the event.

In this edition, 180 teams from more than 60 clubs are expected to participate, divided into 10 different groups, from U19s to U8s, including two women’s groups. In addition, the tournament will be attended by international teams from countries such as Argentina, United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Peru, United States and Italy. On a domestic level, some of the best youth teams in Spain will be present, such as Levante UD, Valencia CF, FC Barcelona, Girona FC, Real Sociedad and Osasuna.

The event will be held in five of the most prestigious venues in our province: the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground, the Pamesa Cerámica Training Ground, the CEM Pau Francisco Torres, and the Alqueries sports complex and Fundación Flors.
