The attacking midfielder returns to Villarreal CF for take on the challenge of playing in Primera B
The Ladies First Team has closed the signing of attacking midfielder Iris Domínguez, who will form part of the Yellows squad for the 2019/20 season. She becomes the sixth arrival this summer, after Sara Medina, Paula Campos, Bea Prades, Ayaki Shinada and Celia Fernández.
The Yellows have also renewed the contracts of 13 players for next season: Aixa Salvador, Lara Mata, Laura Royo, María Colonques, Sheila Guijarro, Naiara Ves, Jessica Collado, Clara Martínez, Cristina Díaz, María Sanjuán, Silvia Gallego, Yolanda Palomino and María Ortells.
Return to the Yellow Submarine
Iris Domínguez is a skilful player with the ball and has fantastic in-play vision. Her speed and determination when making decisions mean that she is an extremely talented player. After a brief spell with Levante UD and six seasons with Joventut Almassora, aged 30, Domínguez returns to the Yellows, where she spent seven seasons. She also spent two campaigns with SPA Alicante.
