Spain U16s won the tournament after beating USA, Denmark and England
Villarreal youngster Irene Miguélez has been named champion of the UEFA U16 Development Tournament with Spain. En route to victory, the beat USA (2-1), Denmark (2-1) and England (2-0).
The women’s B team player featured for 16 minutes in the first tie against the Americans. Due to injury, she was unable to play in any of the other matches, which took place at St George’s Park, head of the FA, from 16th to 25th February.
