Villarreal CF and the midfielder extend their link until the 2023/24 season
Villarreal CF has reached an agreement for the renewal of Vicente Iborra, who will wear yellow until 30th June 2024. In this way, the midfielder extends his contract an extra year, as his link with the club was previously until 2023.

Vicente Iborra came to Villarreal in the 2018/19 season and since then has become a vital player for the Submarine. His hierarchy and leadership ability mean he has become one of the four captains for the Yellows.
Iborra has played a total of 80 matches for Villarreal, a great number considering he suffered a season-ending knee injury last year on Matchday 13 against Real Betis (13/12/2020).
