Villarreal CF’s new Portuguese defender, Rúben Semedo, is already thinking in Yellow. At midday today, the Portuguese centre back gave an interview to Villarreal TV in which he explained his feeling after signing for the Submaarine. Semedo, who had offers from other big clubs, said he chose Villarreal for an important reason: “I chose Villarreal because I like their style of play. The team has a lot of quality and I think can help the team with my quality”.
The defender added, “I had other clubs interested in me, good clubs from England. But when I heard the name Villarreal I decided to come here. I’m excited to play in LaLiga, to win titles for Villarreal, help the team and have a good season”.
