Manu Trigueros highlighted the Submarine’s big moment in the last stretch of the year
The Villarreal CF midfielder Manu Trigueros spoke to Villarreal TV to analyse the victory against Getafe CF and the excellent end to the year signed by the Yellow team: “We have finished the year with two wins which puts us back in the fight for Europe and further away from relegation. We go into the holidays very happy”.
For the midfielder, the Submarine clearly dominated against the dark blues: “We controlled the whole game. We did things very well against a difficult opposition. They are a very organised team”.
The Yellow No.14 dreams of a 2020 full of excitement for the Yellows: “We hope that it will be a better year than 2019, which we have finished in good form. In the new year we hope to do well in the Copa del Rey and return to Europe”.
Finally, the Yellow footballer acknowledged that he will take advantage of the holidays to rest with his family: “Now I will go to Talavera with my newborn daughter to introduce her to all her relatives. It is always nice to return to your home to be with your family”.
