The ceremony will take place this Wednesday in the auditorium in the new Health Sciences faculty (1pm CEST)
Institutional Relations manager, Tino Traver, will this Wednesday attend the presentation ceremony for the ‘Cátedra Villarreal CF del Deporte’ scholarships for elite athletes at the Jaume I University (UJI) in Castellón. The ceremony will take place from 1pm CEST in the auditorium in the new Health Sciences facility. It is worth mentioning that this ceremony is part of the ‘Sports Celebration Party’ (Fiesta del Deporte) at the university.
The Yellow Submarine gives a total of 30,000 Euros in grants for elite UJI athletes, which will be shared between 50 athletes.
The Elite Athletes Programme, started in 1999 to help high-level university athletes to be able to combine their academic and sporting life and to be able to carry out their studies with their daily training sessions, has helped more than 460 students at the UJI.
