Quintillà, Morlanes and Senna thanked the fans for getting involved in this charity event
Villarreal CF fans replied to the call to donate blood this Thursday at the Estadio de la Cerámica thanks to the ‘Give Blood’ initiative, backed by the Yellows and the Comunitat Valenciana Tranfusion Centre (Centre de Transfusió de la Comunitat Valenciana).
First-team players Xavi Quintilla and Manu Morlanes, and Institutional Relations Department member Marcos Senna went to the conference room in the Preferencia Stand to thank in person the Yellows fans donating blood and give them two tickets for an upcoming match at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
This initiative, as part of the Endavant Solidaritat project, is backed by Fros-trol, official Villarreal sponsor, as a collaborator. With 18 years of history, more than 8,000 donations have been made since the 2001/02 season.
Furthermore, the Yellows interested in giving blood, who were unable to do so this morning, can do until 9pm this Thursday, by going into Gate 31.
Donate bone marrow!
During the give blood campaign, the Fundación Josep Carreras, also at the conference room in the Preferencia stand at the Estadio de la Cerámica, made the most of the day to make fans aware of the importance of donating bone marrow.
