Villarreal footballers have had fun at CEIP Germans Ochando school in Almassora
An unforgettable day. Gerard Moreno and Rocío García visited students at CEIP Germans Ochando school in Almassora this Thursday thanks to the ‘A Star in Your School’ activity.
It was a very special visit, as Gerard Moreno and Rocío García were interviewed on a radio programme devised by the school (Radio Ochando). Divided into several groups, the students were able to ask the footballers all kinds of questions. In addition, both Gerard and Rocío were photographed with several classes of the school and signed an official flag as a souvenir.
Villarreal CF, getting close to youngsters through Endavant Club Groguet
Through the ‘A Star In Your School’ activity, Villarreal CF has been bringing the club closer to the youngest children in the province of Castellón since the 2014/15 season. A number of Villarreal CF men’s and women’s first-team players have visited schools in the province of Castellón over the last few years.
In addition, the yellow club was able to reinvent itself during the pandemic to continue celebrating this activity by devising a virtual format to bring the yellow stars closer to the youngest fans in our province.
From now until the rest of the season, footballers from both the men’s and women’s first team will visit schools to get to know and have fun with children of the province of Castellón.
